Flight Test Technician 4

The successful candidate will perform a variety of aircraft maintenance. The maintenance includes but is not limited to avionics, electrical, instrumentation, engine, hydraulic, airframes, and other mechanical systems and subsystems. Maintenance actions will include troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, wiring repair, wire harness manufacture and routing, engine repair and upkeep, composite repair, hydraulic systems rework, braking systems rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various Air Vehicle systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, service instructions, and NGC processes and procedures. Modification work will include installation, upgrades to, and the removal of components. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to complete all required documentation such as NGC records and maintenance work documentation.

Other duties include Launch and Recovery operations, Ground Support Equipment operation and Ground Test support. This position may require the individual to work overtime as well as travel off-site.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with 6 years aircraft maintenance experience. 4 additional years of experience (for a total of 10) may be substituted for an Associate degree.

Secret Security Clearance.

FAA A&P Rating

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with 6 years aircraft maintenance experience -Or- 10 years aircraft maintenance experience
  • In scope DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • FAA A&P Rating
