Work to be performed in overseas locations. Knowledge of electronic and mechanical theory required. Candidate must be able to work in an approved work environment during specified work hours, in both external and internal environmental conditions.
Candidate will be responsible for integration, testing, operation and maintenance of major complex electronic and mechanical systems and sub-systems with minimum supervision in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will assist in launch and recovery operations, assembly, emplacement, disassembly, and displacement of system equipment and other duties as assigned.
Provide technical support on the Hunter UAS. Primary responsibilities will include maintaining the Hunter UAS system Ground Control Station, Ground Data Terminal, Ground Support Equipment and Unmanned Air Vehicles to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, payload integration, Engineering flight and ground test, troubleshooting and repair in accordance with appropriate Technical Manuals and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording all maintenance actions using TAMMS documentation methods.
Duties will involve technical validation of repair, CONUS and OCONUS deployments for a period of up to one year, as required. Successful candidate must be able to obtain a JP Morgan corporate credit card, successfully complete deployment training and exam requirements as required by the Combat Readiness Center (CRC) and able to obtain a commercial driver's license.
- AS or AAS Degree*
- 4 Plus years of aviation experience
- Successful completion of initial Hunter Maintenance qualification training
- Able to medically clear for OCONUS deployment (medical requirements available upon request)
- Interim Secret Clearance required
- Degree may be substituted with additional years of aviation related experience.
- A&P license
- Working knowledge of MQ-5B Hunter UAS and associated equipment
- Proficiency with Ethernet network and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic understanding of TAMMS, TAMMS-A
