Flight Coordination Rep 3
Provides for aircrew briefing of course rules, weather, runway, airport construction, NOTAMS, etc. Files, activates and closes FAA flight plans as required. Provides active flight following for possible SAR situations. Maintains certain aircraft and aircrew flight records. Coordinates airspace requirements with FAA and DOD agencies depending on flight profiles. Assists visiting aircrew with flight planning, briefing, filing, weather and local transportation needs. Serves as point of contact for incoming ferry flights coordination of airfield, tower, maintenance, and aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) operations. Additional duties: Weight and Balance Technical Specialist: Supervise the conduct aircraft weighing operations and complete all computations and update aircraft weight and balance handbook. Issue DD Form365- Form F Weight and Balance flight clearance form.
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of dispatch experience or High School diploma or equivalent and 10 years of dispatch experience.
US citizenship required.
