Financial/Cost Control Analyst 3/4

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Financial/Cost Control Analyst 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Financial/Cost Control Analyst to join its team of qualified, diverse professionals. The successful applicant will become part of the Cyber & Intelligence Mission Solutions Division Business Management Team, supporting the Ground Intelligence Solutions operating unit of the Intelligence Solutions business unit.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Identifying, mitigating, and resolving project cost and schedule risks and issues.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Support Business Management Teams including representatives as appropriate from program management, contracts, engineering, mission assurance, and subcontracts.
  • Leading and participating in project review meetings as required.
  • Support cost proposal teams.

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 6 years of related experience.
  • Experience and proficiency with MS Office and, specifically, advanced Excel & Access Knowledge
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience and proficiency with MS Office and, specifically, advanced Excel & Access Knowledge
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Cognos.
