Facilities Infrastructure Organization Manager on the JRDC program in support of the Missile Defense Agency’s Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC) at Schriever AFB.

The MDIOC is a 24×7×365 facility supporting missile defense simulation, testing, and operations. The Infrastructure Organization Manager leads a group of approximately 50 personnel and multiple task orders worth $15M annually in facility sustainment and modifications. The Org Manager serves as the Task Order Lead on all Infrastructure discrete project task orders and as such, manages the flow of new work, the bid process, the project management plans, processes and procedures, cost account management, and the assignment of project managers to discrete projects. Directly oversees a team of project managers to ensure projects are completed in accordance with contractual obligations by monitoring the cost, schedule, and performance of the team and ultimately the project manager. Ensures all contractual obligations and deliverables are completed on time and within specifications. Briefs JRDC and government management on project status and conducts recurring status meetings. Develops, tracks, and reports vital performance metrics to the government customer via the monthly and quarterly Task Order Status Reports. Responsible for ensuring proper staff levels are maintained throughout the organization. Creates an environment that results in outstanding customer satisfaction by understanding and managing customer expectations. Identifies problem areas, determines the reasons for deviations from the plans and initiates and follows-up on the implementation of corrective actions. Promotes an equitable and harmonious work environment and promptly resolves personnel issues when they arise. Performs root-cause analysis on customer complaints, identifies and implements corrective actions, and ensures customers remain informed throughout the process. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and policies for the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 15 years relevant experience or Master’s degree and 10 years relevant experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

Requires previous facility management of large, complex facilities with 24×7×365 operations.

Knowledge of proposal, contract, and budget practices are required. Candidate must be able to successfully multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well in a team environment, have strong interpersonal skills, and have a positive, can-do attitude.

Must have DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong systems engineering and project management background are valuable as well. Familiarity with applicable national, state, and AF building regulations and codes.
