Enterprise wide Apps Analyst 3/4

Northrop Grumman Enterprise Solutions Group has an opportunity for an Enterprise wide Apps Analyst 3 or 4 (GSC/Manufacturing Application Analyst/Systems Integration professional - MM and PP modules) who is an energetic, self-starter with knowledge and experience in converting customer requirements into systems solutions. This position will report to the Director of ERP at our El Segundo, CA location. This position will be responsible for functional requirements definitions, reviewing and modifying systems, performing business process gap analysis and making business process recommendations in support of SAP modules that are used by our off network programs.
Responsibilities for an Enterprise-wide Applications Analyst 3 include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary POC between the customer and technical community around SAP ERP/Manufacturing/Quality Management, CPLM, and MES Shopfloor solutions and integrations, SCA, Inventory management, and Quality Management. As primary POC you will be expected to interface with and analyze customer requests, identify, collect and document functional requirements definition, coordinate with technical community to solution design, configure, test, document and maintain customer validated solutions. Specifically:
    • Write requirements documents, design documents and test procedures for applications
    • Work with end users/developers to analyze/design/configure/tailor applications that best meet user requirements
    • Work with end users/developers to develop and implement unit and system testing processes
    • Assist with testing efforts and work with customers to ensure appropriate testing is completed
    • Provide coordination between end user subject matter experts and developers
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and installing to support an organization's business needs and application systems
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Responsible for recurring/existing customer base and new project initiatives
  • Responsible for non-recurring initiatives as required
The responsibilities for an Enterprise-wide Applications Analyst 4 include all of the previous responsibilities as well as:
  • Act as internal consultant between the customer and technical community. As an internal consultant you will be expected to identify, solution engineer and propose potential efficiencies to senior internal customers. Approved solutions will be managed and senior leadership will be updated on major milestones and upon completion.
  • Provide functional/technical level input on development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Functional/Technical lead on recurring/existing customer base and new project initiatives
  • Functional/Technical lead on non-recurring initiatives as required

Basic Qualifications for the level 3:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering or similar degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or 9 years' of experience with high school
  • Experience with MM/PP/QM design, including requirement analysis, configuration, realization, testing, post implementation support, training and knowledge transfer

Basic Qualifications for the level 4:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering or similar degree with 9 years' of relevant experience or 13 years' of experience with high school
  • Experience with MM/PP/QM design, including requirement analysis, configuration, realization, testing, post implementation support, training and knowledge transfer

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant SAP or other ERP implementations
  • Active SCI clearance
