Successful candidates for this position will work as a systems engineering modeling and simulation team member for a space program in Dulles VA, in the NSS business area within the Space Systems Sector.
A successful candidate is familiar with model based systems engineering principles, implementation, and application. A successful candidate is interested in establishing and analyzing all elements of a large scale system from the top level down to individual hardware elements. A successful candidate has the skill set, or willingness to learn the skills necessary, to specify the interface parameters, data structures, and data flows for internally and externally created system and system element models. A successful candidate is familiar with, or is excited to learn, integrated modeling and simulation frameworks to apply to complex and interesting modeling, architecture, and simulation opportunities.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree & 2 years experience.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with current or active Top Secret level clearance
This position can be filled level higher with Bachelor's Degree & 5 years experience or Master's Degree & 3 years experience.
The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation experience, and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and managers to achieve the goals of the program team.
