Engineer Systems Test 4

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to excel in a team environment to solve complex problems. Must be willing to support shift work to include extended shifts, rotating shifts,weekends and holidays as required. Must be willing to travel domestically.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 9 years relevant experience; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
  • Active, in-scope, DOD Secret or TS Clearance with the ability to gain Special Program Access prior to start
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of both government and company test requirements and procedures
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
  • Experience as a Test Engineer, Test Conductor/Director that includes test planning, execution and operations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) from an accredited university
  • BS in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering
