Engineer Systems Test 4

Level 4 Flight Test Engineer to support ground and flight test planning and execution efforts on the Global Hawk Program. Responsibilities: Identify air vehicle system configurations and coordinate test planning activity with flight test operations, instrumentation and responsible engineers. Participate in test planning working groups; assist with the planning and conducting of flight test readiness reviews; Perform Test Conductor duties during test conduct, including pre and posttest briefings; schedule and conduct ground and flight tests. Oversee the preparation and publication of test summaries, test cards, and test reports. Compile flight/ground test data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, manufacturing processes or new test requirements. Write master test plans/update existing plans to include IFC's as required. Provide customer interface along with supplier management as required. The position will be based at Edwards AFB, CA, but may require travel to remote test sites on short-term assignments. Travel to customer and other locations for meetings is also required.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree inSTEM Degree; 9 years of flight test engineering experience, Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of applicable experience in flight test operations.Experience as a Global Hawk FTE/TC.
