Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
This Electrical Engineering Design position is responsible for System Integration Laboratory (SIL) hardware in the loop (HITL) test line product development.
The day-to-day tasks will include executing the following engineering/design process:
- Requirements Analysis
- Conceptual Design and Planning
- Detail Design
- Checkout and Integration
- Acceptance Testing
- Final Test Product Delivery

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree with2 years ofaerospace industry experience
- In scope DOD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Product Engineering/Design
- Experience with Computer Aided Drafting: AutoCAD, NX, CATIA or Visio
- Master degree in STEM
- Model Based Engineering and Design and Analysis
- Control Systems Design and Integration
- Electrical Power Systems Design
- Software Development: LabVIEW, C/C++, Visual Basic
- Knowledge of Analog, Digital, and FPGA Design
- Experience interfacing with Serial Data Bus Protocols: RS-422, Ethernet, ARINC 429, Mil STD-1553, 1394B
- Modular Instrumentation and I/O Systems (PXI, cRIO, VPX, PCI, PCIe)
