Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems – Systems Engineering Mod/Sim and Mission Engineering Department is seeking talented Engineers with experience that includes performing military requirements analysis, threat system analysis, system survivability analysis, mission performance/effectiveness analysis, force level effectiveness analysis, military utility, mission concept development, mission threads development, system architecture development, operations analysis and model based system engineering. This role will develop and enhance models and simulations to create frameworks to address the challenges presented in establishing new requirements and evaluating advanced concepts and technologies.

In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
As a member of the Systems Engineering Modeling & Simulation Team the candidate will have a strong background developing physics and/or mathematical models and algorithms. Desired skills include experience programming in languages consistent with currently supported models and simulations including: MATLAB, FORTRAN, Perl, Python, C/C , Java or C#. Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution
1-6 years of Modeling & Simulation experience in an aerospace environment.
The ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
An active DoD Secret (or higher) Security Clearance
Direct experience with modeling/analysis of technologies such as: electronic warfare, radar, IR/EO sensor, weapons, non-kinetic effects, LO or communications
