The Systems Engineering team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Systems Engineer based out of Aurora, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector and New Moon Program are seeking an experienced Advanced Systems System Engineer. The Engineer will be responsible for shepherding multiple independent capability's from concept through to operations. The Engineer will be responsible for the horizontal integration of new concepts and efforts on the New Moon program, with a focus on the end-to-end mission. In addition, the Engineer will manage new development /high risk open requirements and provide schedule status visibility to programs and engineering team. Support multi-disciplined teams in problem resolution. The Engineer will have responsibility for a set of capabilities and ensure that the design, implementation, and verification of those capabilities is defined such that it meets the overall mission objectives.

The selected candidate will serve as the program face to the customer base within the technology domain and be able to foster relationships with the customer that build trust and transparency. The candidate will have excellent communication skills to ensure communication across disciplines in order to keep tasks on track while completing higher priority program execution. Experience as Technical lead, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, or other demonstrated leadership role. The selected candidate will have experience with management of cost, schedule and technical performance of programs. They must possess the ability to establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program issues and obtain solutions such as allocation of resources.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience; Ph.D. with 6 years of relevant experience.;14 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
  • US Citizenship required. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance based on current SSBI (within 5 years) is required and the ability to obtain a CI poly.
  • Demonstrated experience with engineering management.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Possess strong leadership skills including but not limited to: Excellent people skills, Sound judgment, Flexibility, and ability to perform in dynamic environment.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Past experience as a Project Manager, Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Experience and understanding of SIGINT Systems
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
