The Systems Engineering Organization within the Aerospace Systems Engineering has an opening for a Systems Engineer4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in the Space Park Center of Excellence to include Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and El Segundo CA.

The Space Vehicle Payload Accommodation Systems Engineering Lead will lead the development and interface requirements, working across IPTs and subsystem engineering disciplines. The Accommodations Systems Engineering Lead will provide technical support for the assessment of payload capabilities, compliance to requirements and payload selection along with support to Program Monthly Reviews and the Systems Requirements Review.
Basic Qualification:

- Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field from an ABET accredited institution and 9+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment OR
- Masters of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field from an ABET accredited institution and 7+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment
-Experience with DOORs software
-Active SCI Clearance (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active, DoD Secret or TS, with active SCI
