AOA Xinetics (AOX), a Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) strategic business unit, is currently seeking a systems architect with outstanding leadership skills and hands-on experience in development of system solutions for the customer environment at our East Hartford, CT location.

The candidate will interface with multiple disciplines including customers, program management, hardware, software, and system engineering, procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing.

The successful candidate will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities will include:
- The candidate will have hands-on experience in the systems, software, and/or electronics product development and delivery.
- The candidate will have a background in customer support - phone, VTC, email, and support onsite activities
- Involves frequent interaction with customers, both internal and external, setting strategies for system development and support
- Develop updates to existing products to meet unique customer needs, and supports/leads the development of next-generation products within a market segment.
- Maintain knowledge of current and developing technologies and develops strategies for their insertion into both legacy and next-generation sensors
- The candidate will be an experienced LabView developer able to support product development, integration and test, post delivery maintenance and product add-ons.
- Provide support at customer sites to include hands-on training, system integration support, and support to operational readiness evaluations and deployments as subject matter experts.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with at least 10 years of professional experience in a related area; 6 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in systems engineering and relevant leadership experience with development program execution
- High proficiency in technical problem solving, to include root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring.
- This position requires a multi-disciplined knowledge in areas related to engineering including systems design, hardware, software and firmware design, integration and test.
- Must have valid U.S. Drivers License.
- US Citizenship is a bona fide requirement as applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Current, active TS clearance and/or SSBI
