Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer3 to work in our South Bay Center of Excellence (Redondo Beach, El Segundo and Manhattan Beach).
This independent performer will primarily support theGBSD Program Integration Team with tasks and logistics that enable program leadership to achieve operational excellence. Primary duties will include: facilitating the processes and tools to support end-to-end Program Plans; utilization of tools to perform analyses, visualization and optimization of program data. Candidate will act as primary point of contact on multiple processes that involve significant customer interaction and produce deliverables to meet critical program milestones. Other duties will include: support to program office planning and communication; facilitation of cross program/mission technical and programmatic initiatives as needed. Must be highly detail-oriented and a skilled communicator with excellent presentation abilities. Candidate should be able to autonomously assess complex problems and decompose into a plan of action while coordinating across a large and diverse team of schedule, business, and technical SMEs.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline from an ABET accredited university with 5+ years of engineering experience OR a STEM Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
- Prior experience on Space or Air programs working PIT type activities.
- Strong cost and schedule management background.
- Experience coordinating with IPTs on technical solutions to complex problems across multiple teams.
- Experience briefing technical problems/solutionsto senior management.
