Engineer Software 3-19417

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Software Engineer for our Schriever Air Force Base, CO location.

The Software Engineer (SWE) will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the WSI products: BMDS Operational Readiness Reporting System (BORRS) tool, Request for Analysis/Information (RFA/RFI) tool, and Integrated Scheduling Tool (IST). The WSI products are web-based applications that facilitate BMDS operational scheduling, planning, and readiness and system configuration data for the MDA and the Warfighter. The SWE will use C# and T-SQL programming languages in a Microsoft web development environment. The SWE will work with the team to develop and maintain System/Subsystem Description Documents (SSDDs), Software Description Documents (SDDs), Software Development Plans (SDPs), user guides, and administrator guides for the products. The SWE will develop requirements, Stories/Tasks, and maintain configuration control in an Agile environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in STEM related field and 8 years of web development skills in a Microsoft environment.

Candidate must have experience with C# and T-SQL.

Candidate must have a Security certification with Continuing Education (CE).

Candidate must have strong technical writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Candidate must have an active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Missile defense experience. Knowledge of MDA elements and COCOMs.

MSDN Tool Experience: Visual Studio, Model-view-controller (MVC), Entity Framework (EF), Microsoft Team Foundation.

Experience with SQL Server, Visual Basic.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
