Software Digital and Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Ballistic Missile Defense International Simulation (BMD I-Sim) product line of the DE Task Order on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program. The job location is at Schriever AFB, CO.

Primary responsibilities include designing and developing software to model various BMDS elements capabilities. Additional responsibilities could include interfacing with BMD I-Sim customers and presenting technical briefings to BMD I- Sim stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Position requires active DoD Secret clearance
  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
  • Proficient in C++, C#, Java, or similar programming language
  • Experience in developing software in C++, C# and/or Java
  • Experience of object oriented software development
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience working with Windows platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in engineering M&S systems using an optimistic and/or conservative discrete event simulation platform
  • Knowledgeable in agile software development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge in several of the following:
    • missile defense domain knowledge, command and control, and modeling and simulation development
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
