Candidate will be a member of a development team tasked with design, development, and integration of Northrop Grumman developed products into various applications/services to meet requirements of a new program providing multi-domain capabilities to the Air Force. Candidate must work well in a small cross-functional team environment and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will:
  • Provide software & engineering solutions to support software version releases, software development tool enhancements, and emergency/urgent maintenance requests.
  • Participate in requirements derivation, analysis, and system/software design efforts as part of a multi-contractor, geographically separated team
  • Implement software and automated tests. This includes static code analysis, unit-level software testing, software feature testing, and documentation.
  • Perform rapid software defect root cause analysis and solution development.
  • Support contractor development test, system test and integration, and user evaluation activities
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
MSCOMSTR
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
  • DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Hands on development experience with Java in a Linux development environment
  • Experience in all phases of the Software development life cycle
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows, C++, JavaScript, or C# development

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with Java Messaging Service (JMS)
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Crucible)
  • Experience with ActiveVOS or RHEL jBPMN
  • Detail-oriented with good written communication skills.
