The selected candidate will provide on-site software development support for the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB) suite of tools. This includes tools used to capture radar parametric and operational behavior data, and tools used to analyze that data to assess radar capabilities. The selected candidate will also provide support for SAVANT- Systematic Architecture for Virtual Analytic Net-Centric Threat Information (SAVANT); a large scale information processing suite of applications. The selected applicant will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering, and will interact with users, customers and other developers on a regular basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work directly with the EWIRDB and SAVANT engineering teams to fulfill requirements
Perform design analysis
Implement software solutions based on a design
Collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems
Regularly demonstrate progress to customers
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited institution
1+ year software development experience, to include internships
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Ability to develop software in object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++)
Able to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (SVN, Git)
