Job Description:
Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as Government encryption devices, routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
Basic Qualifications:
- 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays and weekends.
- Individual must be willing to work outside of normally scheduled times since this is a 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days-a-year program requiring after hours support.
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance.
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
- Must attain and maintain DoDI 8570 certification if offer of employment is extended.

- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- Wide Area (WAN) and Local Area (LAN) networking
- Group policy design, testing and implementation
- Netware Directory Services
- Experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Government Encryption Devices
- GEM X
- WireShark
