Engineer Network 4

The AXISS contract is looking for a good hands-on network engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for modernizing the communications center. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating network diagrams and documentation, create parts list, configure and test equipment, coordinate outages and install/activate circuits and network equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Bachelor’s degree in a technically relevant field 8 years experience, and experience in the following areas:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Brocade network equipment.
  • Cisco network equipment
  • NEXUS network equipment
  • KG175 encryptors.
  • Proficient with creating documents using MS Visio
  • Data Center Design/Support
  • Security
  • No travel is required
  • TS/SCI clearance with a fullscope polygraph is required

An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

CISSP/CASP certification
