Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Mechanical (ECS)Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Responsibilities include developing environmental control system (ECS) architecture and performing environmental control system analysis, developing requirements, creating supplier procurement specifications and statements of work. The successful candidate must have experience working with diverse technical teams, and must also be experienced with the design, analysis and/or test of flight hardware. Experience with flight hardware acceptance testing and documentation is preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, with minimum 2 years of relevant Aerospace engineering experience
-Active, In-scope DoD Secret clearance
-Ability to obtain special program access (SAP)
-2 years of experience with military aircraft environmental control systems architecture development, environmental control system requirements definition, specifications development, environmental control system designs verification and validation
-Experience working with Global Supply Chain to size, integrate, and procure environmental control system components

Preferred Qualifications:
-Current program access
-MS in Engineering
-Experience in systems integration
-Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
