Engineer Mechanical - Cryocooler Engineer Level 3

The ideal candidate will provide engineering support in a team environment for a number of concurrent NGAS Cryocooler programs. The candidate will assist the technical leads from program initiation to hardware delivery. The candidate will be expected to take hardware requirements and generate/update test procedures. Responsibilities include tracking verification of requirements throughout the build, assembly, test and delivery of cryocooler subassemblies and assemblies. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in a STEM related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of fluid and/or thermo-mechanical systems
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the build and testing of fluid/thermal mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Experience with constructing statements of work, equipment specifications and test procedures
- Experience with cryogenic fluid management
- Previous experience supporting development and flight programs
