The Advanced Development team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an EngineerMechanical based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
The Advanced Development Group develops next generation solutions in payload integration in a maritime environment. Our products span the entire development cycle from what if studies to full up, end to end capability demonstrations. One day you may be conducting trade studies, the next day, modeling hardware or writing software, and the next conducting evaluation testing. It can be a dynamic environment.
We are looking for several entry level engineers ready to take on some of the highest priority technical challenges facing our country. The ideal candidate enjoys working in an interactive collaborative team environment where he or she will be taking instructions from lead engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline and 2+ years experience of relevant work experienceOR MS in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline
-US Citizen ableto obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Academic coursework or demonstrated experience in the following (please ensure that your resume clearly shows this):
- CAD and Model Based Engineering
- Systems engineering fundamentals
- Software development

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Practical experience with NX and Model Based Engineering (MBE)
  • Coursework/experience in Mechatronics
  • Hands on experience in activities or projects such as the SAE race car challenge
