Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Engineer Mechanical 4to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.

The Eagle-3 product line team is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the planning and execution of the production and AI&T efforts in close coordination with systems engineering, design engineering and manufacturing engineering. The successful candidate for this role will possess recent experience in complex developmental and/or production space systems hardware, demonstrable track record of technical and operational excellence, and an in-depth understanding of technical requirements management while balancing cost and schedule implications.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with a minimum of9 years of experience in developing and implementing manufacturing, test and integration plans for space system hardware; or a MS with 7 years
  • Experience developing manufacturing, test and integration plans, schedules, and other project documentation
  • Active SSBI/SCI Clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
  • Recent experience in developing manufacturing, test and integration plans on a complex space system program
  • Active SSBI/SCI Clearance
