Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Fuel Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Responsibilities include developing fuel system architecture and performing fuel system analysis, developing requirements, creating supplier procurement specifications and statements of work.
The successful candidate must have experience working with diverse technical teams, and must also be experienced with the design, analysis and/or test of flight hardware. Experience with flight hardware acceptance testing and documentation is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, with minimum 2 years of relevant Aerospace engineering experience
Active in-scope Secret DoD clearance and S pecial Access Program Clearance
Experience in aircraft fuel systems architecture development, fuel system requirements definition, specifications development, or fuel system designs verification and validation
Experience working with Global Supply Chain to size, integrate, and procure fuel system components
4 years relevant experience
Experience applying MATLAB/Simulink or similar analysis tools on Air Vehicle Fuel Subsystems
Experience in Subcontract Technical Management
Experience in Equipment Specification Development
