Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Antenna Mechanical Engineer1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Space Park, Redondo Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will develop, implement, and execute antennaproduct supporting various space, aircraft, and ground systems.

Essential Functions:
- Ensure consistency and quality production type of antenna
- Exercise and demonstrate leadership on working in a team to accomplish project objective
- Troubleshooting issues and creating resolution plan
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineer fundamentals
- Experience with scripting languages such as VBA and Matlab
- Experience with CAD software such as Creo and SolidWorks

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in a production environment and be able to collaborate close ly with system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and0+ years of experience
- Experience scripting such as VBA and Matlab
- Ability to follow process and procedures
- The ability to obtain and maintainprogram access

Preferred Qualifications:
- GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Trade Studies.
-Master's Degree in STEM and 5 years of engineering experience
- Machining experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active, In scope DoD Secret and/or SCI clearance
