As a member and leader of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Innovation development team, you will define, develop, and design manufacturing concepts and processes for production applications of advanced technologies including but not limited to composites fabrication, assembly, automation, inspection, direct part manufacturing and LO technologies. Position requires incorporation of requirements into development plans and evaluation of performance of processes and tools to verify their efficiency. In addition, you will identify and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure R&D contractual obligations (technical, schedule, and cost) are met and product quality is maintained. Provide guidance regarding design concepts, TRL/MRL maturity, and specification requirements to best utilize resources and manufacturing techniques. Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations. This position involves extensive interfacing with internal and external customers, program offices, engineering disciplines, and executive officers. Budgeting and Project Management skills are required to properly scope and execute assigned work. Occasional travel between sites may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
* A minimum of a B achelor's Science Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with minimum5 years of engineering experience in project and supply base management, affordability analysis, EVMS (Earned Value Management System), proposal development, and business area planning cycles.
* This position requires having the ability to obtain an active Secret DoD Clearance and the ability to maintain. This position also requires having the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
* Must have strong Project Management skills with being able to manage multiple projects concurrently in meeting customer requirements/expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in the development, capture, and execution of R&D technology capabilities. Assessing maturity of new technology for transition to production.
* Composites and airframe fabrication, assembly, and LO coatings experience.
* Capable of representing the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Capable of interacting with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
* Solid modeling product and/or tooling design experience (NX Siemens, CATIA, and/or equivalent).
* Experience with authoring proposals, technical documents, and procedures.
* Experience with CBA/ROI analysis and justifications.
