Engineer Industrial 2

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to install capability upgrades on the B-2 Bomber. Develops install plan in close cooperation with seasoned B-2 subject matter experts. Measures daily gain, earned value, and other key performance indicators to successfully execute the plan. Creates tiered schedules, job burn down charts and provides critical path analysis. Improves efficiencies in production facility and equipment layouts and establishes methods for maximum utilization of facilities and personnel. Conducts time studies, data analysis and simulations to increase plan accuracy and reduce variability. Participates in process reviews with matrix organizations for continuous process improvement and promotes innovation. Assists with the development of proposals for future B-2 upgrades and supports business case analysis for new business pursuits.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience with Bachelor of Science, or a Masters degree. Requires a degree in Industrial Engineering or similar engineering program focused on process flows, manufacturing and production operations. Must be capable of performing master scheduling, tier scheduling, and critical path method scheduling techniques with minimal training. Requires a detailed understanding of MS-Office products, especially MS-Excel and MS-Project. Must be a good team player with strong written and oral communication skills. Candidate must meet the eligibility requirements for a DoD Secret security clearance and additional program clearances to continue employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with manpower modeling and simulation, active secret clearance, experience in Aerospace and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), project management, and familiarity with Department of Defense contract requirements.
