Engineer Field 4 (NAS Lemoore, CA)

Northrop Grumman is looking for a well qualified F-35 Field Service Representative to support Lemoore, NAS!

Candidate for this position will represent Northrop Grumman on F-35 vehicle system technical challenges at NAS Lemoore, CA. The candidate will be primarily responsible for all NGC provided systems but will serve as an integrated team member supporting all aspects of F-35 engineering and maintenance support.

The candidate will conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. The candidate will be required to troubleshoot technical issues, and determine solutions in accordance with product specifications. In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to recommend actions to company, and customer representatives for a coordinated product solution. The candidate must be able to assess product needs, conduct technical training, and conduct product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives. The candidate will act as local on-site representative to customer's organization.

The candidate will possess the ability to integrate into a high tempo flight operations environment. This position will fall under the primary contractor, and as such will require the candidate to assimilate with a diverse group of engineers and technicians. The candidate will need to be a self-starter for this position. Must be able to lead and direct military and civilian maintainers with confidence and authority. Fifth generation fighter aircraft, and flight-line experience is necessary with preference given to F-35 flight-line experience. The candidate must articulate the ability to combine engineering knowledge with real world maintenance.

The candidate must be capable, and able to document all maintenance activity and data collection into repeatable processes through the Action Request (AR) system to ensure fleet wide correction of maintenance issues. Furthermore this candidate should be able to accurately troubleshoot and analyze maintenance issues to reduce down time of aircraft and improve maintenance practices. Candidate should be familiar with reading and interpreting technical data as well as authoring and advising on complex maintenance tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 9 Years of experience with (STEM) Bachelor's Degree; 7 Years with Master's Degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Candidate must possess strong engineering and sustainment skills combined with a wide array of aircraft maintenance and subsystems knowledge/experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

12 Years of experience with (STEM) Bachelor's Degree; 9 Years with Master's Degree. Current and Active Secret Clearance. Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-35/F-22) and Flight line experience desired. Cockpit familiarity of F-35 aircraft would is preferred. Working knowledge of the following engineering tools (CATIA, VAS, PDM) is highly desired. Background and experience with fifth generation avionics (DAS, EW, GPS, INS, and Coms). F-35 engineering or maintenance background preferred.
