Engineer Field 3

Northrop Grumman Field Engineering department hasthree openings forField Engineer 3. Selected candidates will provide C-RAM SOCO technical reach-back and operational support to deployed colleagues in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt.
Selected candidates will conduct routine telecon updates with OCONUS theater management.
- Provide 24 / 7 technical reach-back assistance to deployed Field Service Representatives, when required
- Participate in weekly Program Management and Operations meetings
- Maintain C-RAM technical expertise training proficiency
- - The candidate must bewilling to deploy to Afghanistan or Iraq, as a Field Service Representative for 4-6 months, and then return to the C-RAM SOCO CONUS staff in Huntsville.
Basic Qualifications:
5 Years applicable experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. Four additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree. Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Strong management, supervisory, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to synchronize multiple schedules - including production, procurement, transportation and installation
Strong knowledge of military operations and procedures
Technically proficient in military communications and electronics systems
Available to attend CONUS Relocation Center (CRC) training prior to deploying overseas
Willingness to work with and support the US military in a war zone/wartime environment
Able to qualify for business travel credit card
Familiarity with C-RAM, AMDWS, TASS, or other military Command and Control (C2) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior military experience as a mid to senior field grade officer or Senior NCO
Prior overseas military or military contractor experience
Ability to interface with both NG corporate and U.S. Government Department of Defense (DoD) customers senior staff
Knowledge of the C-RAM Systems of Systems to include RAM Warn and C2/FAAD.
Candidate will have 1-2 years of FAAD / C2 experience
