Engineer Facilities 2 - Facilities Space Planner - Melbourne, FL.
We are searching for a Facilities Space Planner with tactical and strategic large site planning experience within the aerospace (aircraft and satellite development and production) industry. Develop creative tactical and strategic solutions and comprehensive facilities plans. Understand and interpret all aspects of office, lab, and manufacturing facilities space and infrastructure requirements. Apply strong facilities space planning, analysis, estimating and coordination skills and a broad facilities background and knowledge base to the workplace.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Planning or related field with 2 years of related experience. Need to possess the skills for developing creative tactical and strategic solutions, and comprehensive facilities plans. Need to possess a strong facilities space planning, analysis, estimating and coordination skills and a broad facilities background and knowledge base. The ability to understand and interpret all aspects of office, lab, and manufacturing facilities space and infrastructure requirements is required. Proficiency in MS Power Point, Visio, Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook is necessary. A solid active working background in AutoCAD with computer aided facilities management (CAFM) systems (e.g. Archibus, Tririga, etc.) is required. Valid State Driver’s License is needed. A DoD Interim Secret security clearance is required to start.
