Engineer Electronics 2

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer interested in joining the Test Engineering Department. The candidate will be responsible for the hardware aspects of a System Bench Design. This includes, but is not limited to, the design and layout of power, control, cooling, and digital support for the System Test Bench.

The responsibilities encompass all phases of design, including concept, detailed design development, documentation release, fabrication, integration, and support. The candidate will be a member of multi-disciplinary teams within and external to the test engineering department encompassing a wide variety of programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline and 2 years' experience with 1 year experience in hardware design or a Master's Degree with 0 years' experience
- Experience with integrated (analog, power, digital) hardware Design
- Experience in panel design, cable design, and schematic layouts
- Experience with lab test equipment such as DMM and O-Scopes
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Interim Secret Clearance is required to start, U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
- Experience with schematic design tools (e.g., Zuken)
- Experience with hands-on troubleshooting with electrical hardware
- Experience with PLC/HMI Software (e.g., FT View Studio and/or RSLogix 5000)
- Experience with Fiber Optic Systems
- Technical Leadership experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance
