Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Engineer Electrical - 4to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA .

The following is for an AIR Electrical Power Systems Engineering position. The engineer will support Air clean sheet design that entails supporting design architecture, power requirements definition and sizing. Development of converters, inverters and power distribution units. In addition, the generation of harness design drawings and electrical harness routing activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- An active in-scope DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain program access
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
- 6-8 years of Electrical Power Systems design experience that encompasses the following specific areas:
Knowledge of Air Power and Battery Systems Design
Knowledge of Air Electrical Power Systems Architecture
Knowledge of converter design and harness design tools (CATIA, HarnesSys, NX, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering MS Degree (MSEE)
- 8-10 years of Electrical Power Systems design experience that encompasses the following specific areas:
8+ years of experience in Air Power and Battery Systems Design
8+ years of experience in Air Electrical Power Systems Architecture
8+ years of experience in converter design and harness design tools (HarnesSys Desired)
