Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aElectrical Engineer3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
- Primary responsibility will be creating and releasingelectrical installation drawings to support flight test instrumentation.
- Additional responsibilities include working with Customers, Suppliers, Operations, Pilots, Technicians, Quality Assurance and various Engineering organizations during design, test and integration.
- This position requires the ability to prepare detail, assembly, and installation design packages Build to Packages (BTP) from layouts usingAutoCad computer aided design tool.
- The candidate will have the opportunity to be exposed to multiple skill sets within the electrical engineering discipline such as:electrical design, subsystems design, ground and flight test, equipment and material selection,electrical fabrication techniques, support hardware build/integration, and environmental testing. Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with at least5 years of engineering experience
Experience with solid modeling
Secret Clearance with an investigation in the last 6 years
Experience with Teamcenter Unified and Teamcenter Enterprise is preferred
Bachelor's Degree inElectrical or Aeronatical Engineering
