Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Engineer Electrical - 3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Electrical Power Subsystem engineer to support requirement management, perform energy balance and power quality analysis, build and validate virtual power system simulations and support verification activities.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
- An active in-scope DoD Top Secret/SSBI clearance with the ability to obtain program access
- 5 years of Electrical Power Systems design experience that encompasses the following specific areas:
Knowledge of Solar Array and Battery Systems Design
Knowledge of Electrical Power Systems Architecture
Knowledge of power sizing and management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

- Electrical Engineering MS Degree (MSEE)
- 5+ years of Electrical Power Systems design experience that encompasses the following specific areas:
- 5+ years of experience in Solar Array and Battery Systems
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Power Systems Architecture
- 5+ years of experience in power sizing and management tools
