Engineer Electrical 2 - Analog Design

Working in Northrop Grumman Mission Systems means making a direct contribution to mission projects that keep our homeland safe, expanding the boundaries of possibility and reshaping the world we live in.

This position is for an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for detailed design of Analog circuits and sub-systems. Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, sub-system level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and transition to production. Analysis tasks include detailed circuit modeling, simulation and analysis, signal integrity analysis, electrical stress analysis, and worst-case circuit analysis.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 0 years experience.
  • Electrical circuit design
  • Circuit modeling and simulation
  • Schematic capture
  • Circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting
  • U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Masters' degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Direct experience in Analog circuit design
  • Cadence CAE
  • Circuit board design
  • Signal integrity analysis
  • Worst case circuit analysis
  • Electrical stress analysis
  • Design verification and test
