Unix/Linux System Administrator 3

Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA needs a qualified Unix/Linux System Administrator to perform key assignments for multiple classified computer networks running Red Hat Linux, IBM AIX, and Windows.

Responsibilities include:

  • Hardware/software installations and upgrades
  • System troubleshooting and repair
  • System monitoring and tuning
  • Data backup/recovery support
  • User and application support
  • System and process documentation
  • Security support

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or closely related technical degree
  • 5 years of Unix system administration experience (AIX, or Solaris)
  • 5 years of Red Hat Linux system administration experience
  • 3 years Windows Server 2012
  • 3 years Cisco Networking
  • 3 years coding: shell scripting, perl, python, ruby
  • 3 years virtualization: VMware, kvm
  • Ability to work flex and overtime hours (2nd/3rd shift as needed)
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Directory or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
  • Network Attached Storage (NAS)
  • Cisco Networking and ASA Firewall
  • Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
  • CISSP or Security certification
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Host Based Security System (HBSS)
