Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA, El Segundo, CA, or Oklahoma, OK.
As an Engineer, you will analyze, research, design, develop, fabrication/assembly support, and/or troubleshoot aeronautical products. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in Material and Processes, Production Support/Liaison, Structural Analysis, Structural Design, and/or Vehicle Subsystems.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum 2 years of related experience
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred
1 year of experience Materials and Processes in aerospace vehicle engineering;
or 1 year of experience with Structural Analysis and/or Design in aerospace vehicle engineering, especially in composite;
or 1 year of experience in production support liaison in aerospace vehicle engineering with MRB authority;
or 1 year of experience in subsystems in aerospace vehicle engineering
Knowledge of NX, CATIA, Team Center (CPLM), HarnesSYS, Mentor Graphics Capital, and/or similar design tools as applied to aerospace vehicle engineering is preferable.
Knowledge of NASTRAN, PATRAN, FEMAP, ADAMS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, AMESim, and/or similar analysis tools as applied to aerospace vehicle engineering is preferable.
