Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for Project Engineer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse Individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. The selected candidate will provide program management support and technical integration in support of the Project Integration Mgr. to ensure continued operations and sustainment of a system.

Essential Functions:
- Provide Project engineering support
- Additional functions include project reporting, planning, forecasting, supporting proposals, metrics creation,
Analysis, process creation, documentation, and regular status briefs for major milestones
-Understanding of Earned Value Management principles and its application
-Provides program office long-range forecast of various systems hardware and network requirements
-Develops Standard Operating Procedures, Training plans, and technical polices related to sustainment and operations of Northrop Grumman advance systems
-Provide technical integration support across IPTs and across IWOs to ensure all major milestones and
Programmatic requirements are met
- Candidate will implement metrics and enhancements to present program status
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse
Assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in an operating environment and be able to collaborate closely with engineers, hardware project management, and management.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline and9 years of engineering e xperience OR a Master's Degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics with 7 years of engineering experienceor MBA in Information Technology Discipline and 8 years of engineering experience.
- An active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
- Ability to obtain a top secret clearance and program access as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline and 10 years of engineering
Experience OR a Master's Degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics or MBA in Information Technology
Discipline and 8 years of engineering experience.
- An active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
- Ability to obtain a top secret clearance and program access as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics or MBA in Information Technology
Active, in scope DoD Top Secret
Prior military experience
