Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Ground, Lasers, Sensors and Subsystems organization is seekingan Information Assurance System Leadfor its Special Test Equipment Engineering (STEE) team. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in working with systems, hardware and software engineers who are developing products for our space systems ground systems. They must be able to lead technical efforts to implement information assurance intodesign and development of solutions for risk management framework (RMF) with the STEE system engineering team and interface directly with a diverse team of IPT Leads, Cyber and System security teams.

The lead must have senior-level experience in the RMF process at a program level and have extensive information assurance and information technology background. They will be working extensively with Information Assurance (IA)/System Security Engineering (SSE) to implement solutions that respond to allocated security requirements. They will direct system administrators as they develop processes and procedures and ensure that they are adhering to industry and government standards, as well as program requirements. They will represent the program at meetings on information assurance requirements. They should have good communication and presentation skills, be organized and report status to upper management.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors of Science in STEM related field
-Minimum of 9 years of experiencein implementing system security requirements.
-Active SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
-Certification in higher level IA requirement such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
-Experience in implementing IA-allocated controls onto hardware/software products
