Duties/Responsibilities:

  • You will generate, coordinate, and develop cost/benefit analysis to reduce the cost stack-up on the F-35 aircraft

  • Lead the teams outside the Affordability team to ensure accurate inputs and buy-in to all numbers

  • Lead the basic financial analysis associated with each business case
    You will convert the cost/benefit analysis to an execution plan
    Work with the teams impacted by the initiative to develop a realistic execution plan with appropriate details included to manage execution risk

  • Familiar with project management (SPI, CPI, EV)

  • You will manage project execution

  • Accurately identify risks that could prevent or delay successful project execution

  • Work mitigation strategies to recover projects as necessary

  • You will work with the Contracts Group as needed to resolve discrepancies and better define the appropriate Affordability contract as required.

  • You will prepare, maintain, and report Affordability Metrics

  • You will manage reporting metrics to the customer and the US Government; manage them to set realistic reporting expectations

  • You will perform data analysis techniques as required that support strong contract negotiations and other Program level tasks as required

  • You will create executive briefings/presentations and execute other special assignments as required

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math discipline and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experienced in a technical, manufacturing, or financial/cost control/cost accounting environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Financial analysis experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aircraft production
