The Hardware Engineering team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Electrical Engineer - Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility 4 based out of Woodland Hills, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

Lead hardware design and design analysis for Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) compliance.
Perform system level decomposition of EMI/EMC requirements.
Develop EMI/EMC design requirements at sub-system level.
Design analysis to verify compliance.
Support hardware design engineering to ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements.

WOODLANDHILLS
Basic Qualifications:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 9 years related experience, M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 7 years related experience; PhD in Electrical Engineering and 4 years of related experience.
Hardware design experience for EMI/EMC compliance.
Expertise in MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464 and DO-160.
Technical ability to support decomposition of System level EMI/EMC requirements to sub-assembly level.
Technical ability to perform risk assessment with respect to compliance with EMI/EMC requirements.
Technical ability to perform EMI/EMC design and analysis at both system and hardware levels.
Technical ability to develop, document, and maintain EMI/EMC requirements at sub-system level.
Design experience with EMI Filters and Lighting protection.
Experience with Cable design.
Experience with modeling and simulation using SPICE.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in using CST CAE tools.
Working knowledge of Signal Integrity, working knowledge in using Cadence Signal Integrity analysis tool.
Understanding of sub-system and system level EMI/EMC test.
