E-2D Test Pilot 5 Supporting Japan Testing

Participate in E-2D vehicle and system groundand flight tests to support a new international export variant of the E-2Daircraft in Melbourne, FL. Support E-2 production, Aerial RefuelingExperimental Flight Test, FMS sales, FMS in-country training, and customer support. Support engineering, systems safety, and the E-2 program with development ofsystems and vehicle test plans, procedures, and test cards. ProvideNATOPS manual inputs and conduct E-2 aircrew training. Extensive domestic andinternational travel required. Basic Qualifications:

  • Current or former US Navy E-2 pilot with NATOPS Qualification
  • Aviation curriculum development experience required
  • Test Pilot School graduate required
  • Must have a minimum of 3000 hours total time and1500 hrs first pilot in any military aircraft
  • Minimum 2,000 hours experience in E-2/C-2 required
  • Carrier suitability test experience required
  • NP2000/427 propulsion system experience required
  • Must be able to pass FAA Class II physical as a conditionof employment
  • Able to work in both external and internal environmentalconditions
  • Ability to identify sequence of operations or action to betaken
  • Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/oraccomplishing them simultaneously
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the last investigation in the past 6-years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 500 hours in E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Aircraft
  • C-2 pilot experience desired
  • FAA commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine andinstrument rating required
  • Instructor pilot experience desired
  • Aerial refueling program experience desired
  • Development Test or Operational Test experience
  • Current Top Secret clearance is desired.
  • Experience working with foreign military personneldesired
  • Naval Aviation or USAF Safety Officer School graduatedesired
  • NATOPS model manager experience desired
  • Structural loads flight testing experience desired
  • Active Secret Clearance with the last investigation in the past 6-years
