Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented individual to lead a team of cross discipline specialist engineers located in San Diego, CA with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:
- Direct the Triton Test IPT in support of the full portfolio of domestic and international Triton programs.
- Manage test requirements development, test campaigns and procedure development, test equipment and
instrumentation design, test infrastructure operations, system integration, test execution, test reporting and anomaly
resolution.
- Coordinate requirements and results with customers.
- Develop yearly Capital Asset plans, forecasts and manage to allocated budgets. Support proposal development for all
activities.
- Maintain performance metrics and daily status reports.
- Develop and track closure plans for issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Assess earned value progress and forecast EAC.
- Help drive adoption of Test Like You Fly risk assessments, test automation, self-reporting configuration, virtual test
environments, continuous integration, fix-it-now, and other IFC Affordability Initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 9 years of Engineering or Aerospace Experience
  • Active In-Scope DOD Secret Clearance or Interim Top Secretor higher.
  • Must have cross functional leadership experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Excellent communication skills as primary contact with customer or government leadership.
  • Systems Test or Systems Engineering Background
  • Proven leadership skills
