Dir Programs 1 - AMP Ground Software Program Manager

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director level 1 Software Program Manager to manage the portfolio of AMP Software projects and to provide leadership for a software team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The AMP Ground Software Program Director is a critical high leverage position reporting directly to the AMP Ground Program Manager with line of business reporting responsibilities to MS Operating and Business unit leadership. Responsibilities include the execution and performance management of the development, integration, major subcontractor oversight and integration, and delivery of a highly critical real time C&C software product which is integral to crucial Ground deliveries. The Software Director is also responsible for providing guidance and leadership of 100+ people. The addition of P093 has increased the programmatic and technical complexity and growth opportunities for the AMP portfolio. The Software Director will also be accountable for P093 program startup, cross sector leadership, major subcontractor oversight, and also identify business growth opportunities to provide for substantial new NGC sales. The value of the effort exceeds $600M and approaches $1B with significant new business potential.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences or related technical field and Ten years combined experience program management and execution, software development, hardware procurement, integration and test, system deployments and operations.
Proven leadership record working in collaboration across multiple sector, contract, and customer relationships
Proven financial, schedule, subcontract management, and technical performance and execution
Proven coordination and employee engagement collaboration across program and functional organizations
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ten years of demonstrated experience in program management
Experience in lead roles in business development with advanced capabilities on large capture efforts
Experience with award fee contracting and negotiations
Experience with Intelligence, DoD and other USG customers
Experience drawing on technical solutions from the NGC enterprise
Experience with advanced information technologies and architectures
