Desktop / End User Support

The End User Support position will provide IT support to the AOA Xinetics SBU personnel. Qualified candidates must possess a thorough understanding of IT Security, Windows Desktop Technologies, and some Server and Networking experience. The applicant will need to attain a TS clearance to support existing IT efforts, for unclassified and classified networks within the SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility.

The person in this role will assist users with the use of personal computers and networks and will be responsible for investigating the information, network, and communications needs of users. The End User Support person will work under general direction, independently determining and developing approaches to solutions. Responsibilities of this position will include installation, troubleshooting, and service, of PCs on the Corporate and SBU networks, as well as basic understanding and troubleshooting of network equipment, servers, modems, multiplexers, telephones and network cables and connectors.

The End User Support will be part of the AOX IT Department and will be based out of the East Hartford, CT facility. As part of IT team, travel and remote support to our facilities in our Cambridge, MA and Devens, MA offices would be required as needed.

Overall, the End User Support should be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Their solutions should be imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with the organization's objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

2 or more years of Desktop or Deskside Support experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field

US Citizenship is a bona fide occupational qualification

Must have the ability to get a Top Secret security clearance

Ability to travel regionally to AOX offices in Massachusetts as needed (10%)

Preferred Qualifications:

Active TS/SSBI clearance

Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or research facility
