Data Analyst - Analysis Center 3 or 4

The Data Analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. This position works in conjunction with the monitoring analyst to ensure the health of

the enterprise. The Data Analyst / Monitoring team work in shifts to ensure 24x7 coverage. – 12 hour shifts 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

BQs for a Data Analyst 3 are...

  • 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters, OR 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph within the last 5 years
  • Able and willing to work shifts
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc…)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • ITIL Foundations and Service Operation Intermediate
  • 8570 (Security )

BQs for a Data Analyst 4 are…

  • 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters, OR 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph within the last 5 years
  • Able and willing to work shifts
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc…)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
