Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Security Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse data flow engineers located at Columbia, MD.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Ensures system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recover, and business continuity planning and provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Integrates new architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integrations and testing issues. May interface with external entities including intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics from an accredited institution. Experience cannot be substituted for education.
Nine (9) years of relevant experience; certifications in Open Group Certified Architect, Certified IT Architect, Architecture Framework, and Certified Service Oriented Architecture Architect or equivalents.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to be cleared for Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in the following:
a. Senior systems engineer/security architect on a program with a large and complex lCD 503 accredited computer network with diverse worldwide locations,
b. Managing the development, maintenance, and sustainment of trusted computing systems with multi-level security and compartmented-mode operations,
c. EVM methodology and reporting to monitor status, cost, schedule, and technical performance,
d. Systems and architecture modeling and design, and Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE),
e. Network equipment, protocols, and network protection technology solutions,
f. Proactive assessments of a complex accredited network including analysis of operating system vulnerability and correction/mitigation strategies,
g. Agile software development or agile systems engineering,
h. VMware and/or datacenter virtualization technologies, Voice over IP Technologies and/or Cisco Unified Communications (or similar).
