Cyber Systems Engineer 3

The AWS Systems Engineer 3 must have the skills and the knowledge to design, deploy, or manage applications on Amazon Web Services supporting our business in Fair Lakes VA. You must be able to build and manage AWS solutions as necessary to support the development, transition, and O&M of a large network of systems into the Government AWS cloud. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment and demonstrate that you can effectively design and manage application infrastructure using AWS.

Basic Qualifications:

1.Two or more years of experience in transitioning systems to AWS cloud, developing solutions for AWS cloud, and/or managing and operating systems on AWS cloud

2.Experience with Linux OS, virtualization, scripting, and Python

  1. 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.AWS Certified Solution Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator

2.Experience with Agile scrum methodology, DevOps, and associated development tools

3.Experience with NiFi

4.Familiar with network communications

5.Familiar with large storage systems

6.Familiar with security accreditation requirements
